  The nokia 5800 xpressmusic sim card line paths is connected directly to power management IC, except for the power supply voltage line which is always have the open test  spots where we can check and test.
As I've already been discussed here that the simcard pins connection is composed of 6 connectors where:
SIM Data, SIM  Clock, SIM Reset, Supply Voltage and a Ground and the other pin is left unconnected.
The repair guide  picture below based on the circuit's Schematic Diagram, and the tracing line that only available for check up is the Vsim that supply power voltage to the sim card's Pin 3.

You can test the voltage started from C220 points that I highlighted color red, at that point you can measure approximately about 1.8volts up to 3volts DC voltage, then to C2700 just located near the SIM card connector, and then  to the Pin #3 of SIM card connector.
